FAQ

What happens to my inhalers when I send them in for recycling?
The collected inhalers are deconstructed and its parts are separated by material type. The gases are removed and reprocessed, and the metals are separated and melted into new metal products. The plastic is separated, cleaned, and turned into new plastics products.

What inhalers are accepted through the program?
You may recycle any inhaler through this program.

Are all components of the inhaler accepted through this program?
Yes, you may recycle all components (canister, plastic housing, and cap) of your inhaler through this program.

Please read the following guidelines carefully. It is imperative that you ship them properly.

  • Inhalers must be shipped in their own package; please include inhalers and inhaler components only.
  • Inhalers must be contained by a durable package, such as a cardboard box.
  • Maximum weight of a single filled box = 15lbs.
  • Maximum volume of a shipping box = 24” X 24” X 18”.
